A real calculation, in a fixed sample model.
Symmetric VOL layups under four-point loading. Geometry and strengths are fixed; material values are illustrative assumptions.
Illustrative 3-ply VOL beam
Thicknesses in mm. Outer grain: vertical lines. Inner grain: dots, along the span and out of this plane.
- Support span
- 1,735.5 mm
- Beam depth
- 267 mm
- Board width
- 89 mm
- Local gauge length
- 445 mm
An elastic example.
Illustrative elastic four-point bending with assumed properties. The global response excludes shear, slip and fixture compliance; the local ledger response is a different quantity. This demo is not a nonlinear wall solve, an experimental validation or a design resistance.
Global bending excludes shear deformation, support slip and fixture compliance. The local gauge is a different displacement measurement.

Step through a recorded wall-model response.
This is a prerecorded native calculation with assumed elastic properties. Changing the frame replays a stored result; it does not run a new wall analysis.
What this replay represents
Prerecorded output from an assumed elastic numerical model. This demo replays a fixed calculation; it does not perform a new wall solve, reproduce nonlinear failure, establish specimen-specific calibration or provide independent experimental validation.
- Documented W01 outline: 2200 × 2800 mm, with a 600 × 2400 mm door opening at x = 800 mm.
- Three 35 mm orthotropic layers with vertical outer layers and assumed elastic properties.
- Assumed fixed foundation, full-width top loading plate and rigid test fixture; the actual installation is not reproduced.
- No gravity preload, material damage, base connectors or base contact; displacement-controlled positive loading ends at 0.2 mm.
- Each displayed frame is one actual accepted native solver increment. No temporal interpolation or invented force points are included.
Accepted step 16 · Residual 3.23e-10 N. The display magnifies displacement; reported values retain their physical units.
