Abstract

Engineered wood products, such as Glued Laminated Timber (GLT), Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), and Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), offer promising solutions for sustainable development in the national construction sector. This study focuses on defining and discussing the use of these industrialized materials in architectural applications through bibliometric mapping. With efficient structural properties, these products adhere to sustainability principles. The study emphasizes the need to intensify the debate and adoption of these technologies in Brazilian construction, where their use is currently more prevalent in European and North American countries.
