Mechanics & theories

Investigate the forces and mechanisms behind a timber response. Each formulation keeps its own assumptions and physical scope.

01Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Lintel–parapet–pier research laboratory

Linear centreline Timoshenko opening frames report lintel/parapet/pier end actions, rotations and energies with bilateral base springs and a rigid horizontal top diaphragm.

Scope & next acceptance

This reduced linear idealization does not predict opening-corner stresses, uplift/contact, finite deformation or timber failure. Effective rigidities and experiments need independent review.

Explore workspace
02Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Multi-storey wall assemblies

A one-to-twenty-storey shear assembly computes drift and energy with an optional declared P/h geometric-tangent reduction.

Scope & next acceptance

This small-sway shear-storey reference is not a multi-storey continuum/frame, torsional, transient or collapse model.

Explore workspace
03Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Realistic experimental fixtures

Declared bilateral support springs and independent actuator-fixture compliance expose support movement and the difference between panel and actuator displacement.

Scope & next acceptance

Actual loading plates, restraint details and measured nonlinear fixture laws require specimen-specific evidence and physical commissioning.

04Further research

LignoScope

Nonlinear VOLAR/K-VOLAR workbench

Source-declared equation text and an externally supplied theory prediction can be retained beside the supported beam calculation and its matched observable.

Scope & next acceptance

No new nonlinear VOLAR/K-VOLAR equations are implemented or invented. Exact formulations, derivations and independent reference cases remain required.

Explore workspace
05Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Comparison across modelling theories

Same-input Euler–Bernoulli and Timoshenko ideal-bonded layered four-point beams report global midspan and the centred local-ledger observable.

Scope & next acceptance

Ideal bonding, effective ply properties and serial shear compliance are explicit assumptions. General frame/shell/solid equivalence, layer warping and failure require additional models.

Explore workspace
06Further research

LignoScope

Richer timber constitutive behaviour

The retained engines provide bounded orthotropic response and selected compression/interface laws; the new reduced workbench keeps those limits visible.

Scope & next acceptance

A new calibrated multiaxial timber constitutive integration covering crushing, perpendicular tension and rolling-shear interaction has not been delivered.

07Further research

LignoScope

Mesh-objective fracture investigation

Existing fracture/phase-field tools and new convergence diagnostics support investigation of stated mesh and energy assumptions.

Scope & next acceptance

A new mesh-objective intralaminar FEA formulation, adaptive fracture solve and independent specimen-level objectivity assessment remain further development.

Explore workspace
08Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Advanced delamination

A proportional mixed-mode cohesive reference uses quadratic initiation, BK-type fracture energy and irreversible maximum-separation damage with unloading and energy output.

Scope & next acceptance

The supported path has a fixed positive opening/shear direction. Arbitrary mode histories, compression/closure, friction, fatigue and physical calibration remain unsupported.

Explore workspace
09Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Physical connector assemblies

An independent parallel bilinear fastener group computes force, moment, plastic history and energy under prescribed small translation and rotation.

Scope & next acceptance

This reference does not include installation-specific group reduction, embedment, withdrawal or calibrated pinching/degradation behaviour.

Explore workspace
10Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Material variability and defects

Seeded correlated lognormal layer-modulus samples propagate through the supported layered beam to deflection, retaining the declared distribution and correlation.

Scope & next acceptance

Spatial random fields, knots, size effects and population predictions require additional models, sourced parameters and sampling/experimental assessment.

Explore workspace
11Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Environmental–structural coupling

Supplied modulus factors, free layered thermal/moisture curvature and a declared creep multiplier produce an explicit environmental beam scenario.

Scope & next acceptance

These supplied scenarios are not a calibrated coupled moisture/fire/creep structural evolution model. General wall/solid coupling remains further work.

Explore workspace
12Further research

LignoScope

Integrated nonlinear seismic investigation

Existing bounded transient frame/shell tools remain accessible with their original constitutive, time-step and energy scope.

Scope & next acceptance

No new integrated nonlinear seismic kernel or large-model fracture/contact/dynamics combination is delivered in this workbench.

Explore workspace
13–20

Verification & validation

Examine numerical error, physical observables and the evidence required to assess a prediction.

13Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Error-driven adaptive meshing

Conditional Richardson/GCI calculations use three or more source-bound scalar mesh responses; Dörfler marking selects elements from supplied squared indicators.

Scope & next acceptance

The software does not compute a certified error estimator, remesh, transfer irreversible histories or automatically rerun FEA. The asymptotic convergence assumptions need review.

Explore workspace
14Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Continuation and stability investigation

Symmetric free-tangent diagnostics report Jacobi eigenvalues, eigenvectors and residuals in homogeneous or declared work-scaled coordinates.

Scope & next acceptance

This diagnostic neither extends nonlinear continuation nor establishes physical stability. General frictional branch switching and bifurcation tracking remain further work.

Explore workspace
15Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Scalable numerical engine

A bounded linear CSR preconditioned-conjugate-gradient backend supports up to 20,000 unknowns and 200,000 stored entries with explicit budgets and residual checks.

Scope & next acceptance

The large scalar spring-chain benchmark checks a linear backend. It does not enlarge the supported nonlinear finite-element or arc-length model limits or provision a compute host.

Explore workspace
16Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Expanded independent verification

Independent numerical reference cases and exact retained-input replay, tamper, energy and round-trip checks exercise the new supported calculations.

Scope & next acceptance

These are software checks of the stated algorithms and examples, not independent external full-model verification or physical laboratory acceptance.

Explore workspace
17Commissioning required

LignoScope

Experimental reconciliation centre

Source-linked W08/W12/beam reconciliation exposes missing channel, timing, fixture, material, calibration, geometry and observable evidence.

Scope & next acceptance

W08 mapping, the W12 200/400 mm lintel conflict and beam specimen/local-ledger interpretation remain unresolved. Complete declarations become reviewable; they do not certify physical validation.

Explore workspace
18Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Physical virtual instruments

Specified-element TET4 barycentric probes interpolate supplied displacement fields, including translation-invariant weighted relative gauges.

Scope & next acceptance

Outside-element extrapolation is rejected. Strain gauges and general surface/DIC operators are not supplied; actual gauge placement and source field execution require independent review.

Explore workspace
19Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Nonlinear parameter inference

A two-parameter exponential-saturation finite-grid profile-likelihood tool requires declared Gaussian known errors and separate physical holdout identities; grid clipping is exposed.

Scope & next acceptance

This bounded reference is not generic Bayesian/posterior inference, general FEA calibration or demonstrated physical predictive coverage.

Explore workspace
20Bounded research tool

LignoScope

Prospective validation and test planning

Exhaustive rank-first D-optimal selection evaluates supplied local-linear sensor candidates, alongside frozen protocol hashes and separate held-out criteria.

Scope & next acceptance

The supported design is limited to sixteen candidates, six selected and four parameters. Freeze times/reviewers are declarations; authenticated prospective and physical acceptance remain external.

Measurement & metrology

Preserve original signals and investigate calibration, timing and recording quality.

21Commissioning required

LingoAcquire

Commissioned live acquisition console

Exact-byte V17 commissioning dossiers can be replayed and reviewed alongside source-derived channel-health calculations.

Scope & next acceptance

A live console, named NI device qualification, wiring, drivers and operator-led recording acceptance still require an actual acquisition host and physical trials.

Explore workspace
22Commissioning required

LingoAcquire

Hardware clock and trigger synchronization

Multi-device trigger-receipt affine diagnostics retain offset/drift/residuals from explicitly supplied clock records.

Scope & next acceptance

No physical shared-clock or trigger routing is configured. Hardware synchronization remains uncommissioned and needs compatible devices and measured trials.

Explore workspace
23Bounded research tool

LingoAcquire

Long-duration recording

Browser diagnostics inspect up to 20,000 ordered rows. A streamed local original-file inspector checks selected CSV chunks with incremental exact-byte hashes and online health/time/clock statistics.

Scope & next acceptance

The local inspector reviews existing files and does not capture or control equipment. Continuous acquisition, power-loss recovery and long-duration/disconnect acceptance require an operated host and physical trials.

Explore workspace
24Bounded research tool

LingoAcquire

Advanced calibration and metrology

Degree-one-to-three ordinary-least-squares calibration fits retain coefficient covariance. Seeded correlated-coefficient Monte Carlo propagates supplied voltage and temperature distributions.

Scope & next acceptance

Calibration range, distributions and covariance assumptions are explicit. Real hysteresis/temperature compensation and measurement coverage need physical calibration evidence.

Explore workspace
25Further research

LingoAcquire

Advanced full-field DIC and stereo

First-order planar displacement propagation includes shared scale/axis calibration covariance and cross-point terms, alongside the existing bounded DIC/stereo tools.

Scope & next acceptance

Multiscale full-field large-deformation tracking and stereo camera-intrinsic/extrinsic uncertainty have not been delivered. Pixel covariance needs separately supported evidence.

26Bounded research tool

LingoAcquire

Synchronized event investigation

Chronological event timelines preserve supplied sample mappings and require any referenced result state to exist in the retained source.

Scope & next acceptance

No automatic video alignment, inferred physical clock or reconstructed intermediate solver field is produced. Exposure and observed-event evidence must be supplied.

Exchange & execution

Prepare supported exchanges and inspect numerical differences against the exact mapped source.

27Further research

LingoBridge

Supported external-model catalogue

A fixed profile and feature matrix identifies supported elastic/bilinear preparations and rejects unsupported requested features.

Scope & next acceptance

The matrix is not a new general model translator. Additional frames, layered panels, solids and interfaces still need individual adapters and executed reference campaigns.

Explore workspace
28Commissioning required

LingoBridge

Commissioned Abaqus workflow

Source-bound Abaqus handoff and exact commissioning-evidence review preserve explicit output-mapping requirements.

Scope & next acceptance

A licensed installed Abaqus host has not been commissioned here. Controlled model execution and actual ODB evidence remain required.

LingoBridge

Timber cyclic-material exchange

Cyclic loop, reaction-equilibrium and chronological-work diagnostics operate on supplied ordered results and explicitly declared cycle intervals.

Scope & next acceptance

New pinching/degradation/dowel-type material laws and their external solver exchange are not delivered. A closed loop area alone is not measured constitutive dissipation.

Explore workspace
30Commissioning required

LingoBridge

Operated execution manager

Existing native worker/job operations report actual queue and service state. The fixed-registry runner and local recovery tools preserve their supported execution scope.

Scope & next acceptance

V20 does not add a permanent worker cluster or additional installed-engine adapters. Actual operated hosts, heartbeats, budgets and engine-specific restart acceptance require configuration.

Explore workspace
31Bounded research tool

LingoBridge

Field-level discrepancy investigation

Exact point-paired field comparison checks model/state identity, proper coordinate rotation, compatible units, coordinate tolerance and complete-coverage pass criteria.

Scope & next acceptance

No nearest-neighbour, temporal or spatial interpolation is invented. Tensor rotation is unsupported; mapping errors and constitutive disagreement still require interpretation.

Explore workspace
32Bounded research tool

LingoBridge

Reviewed CAD/BIM geometry handoff

Strict rectangular-panel geometry handoff checks explicit units, layup and nonoverlapping through-openings and calculates dimensional quantities.

Scope & next acceptance

This supported geometry schema is not a general IFC/CAD translator and creates no mesh, loading, constitutive model or proven solver equivalence.

33Bounded research tool

LingoScholar

Executable cross-programme pipelines

Scientific branch comparison

Semantic study-object differences and selective adoption preserve exact source and dependency context.

Scope & next acceptance

Selective adoption must retain unresolved physical identity conflicts; differences do not establish which model is correct.

Shared specimen genealogy

Acyclic study specimen genealogy retains parent relationships, disputed identities and source-reviewed crosswalk declarations.

Scope & next acceptance

A recorded relationship is a researcher declaration until original fabrication and laboratory records support it.

Authenticated full-study review

Native-session-guarded scoped review declarations bind the exact target and expose stale dependencies. Imported reviewer identities remain declarations.

Source-change impact analysis

Retained study-graph impact traversal identifies affected descendants when an exact source or interpretation changes.

Scope & next acceptance

Maintained correction/retraction coverage depends on provider connections. No notice found does not establish scientific validity.

Explore workspace
38Bounded research tool

Maintained review campaigns

Query/provider snapshot fingerprints, screening and deduplication records, cycle checks and flow export preserve explicit campaign coverage.

Scope & next acceptance

Broader live provider coverage and unattended operation require configured maintained integrations and service acceptance.

Signed research releases and repository handoff

Locally signed ECDSA research releases bind the complete retained study and support signature verification. Repository metadata and artifact inventories prepare a deliberate handoff.

Scope & next acceptance

A cryptographic key does not authenticate a researcher. Repository credentials, deliberate remote upload and returned identifiers are separate steps.

Evidence-bound research assistance

Deterministic source rules identify missing evidence and inconsistent declarations for researcher review; no generated scientific text is introduced.

Scope & next acceptance

This is deterministic assistance. Generative processing requires separately configured credentials and explicit control of private-source transmission.

One synchronized investigation canvas

An explicit resolver checks source, specimen, gauge, sample and accepted-state mappings and rejects absent states or inconsistent declared physical time.

Scope & next acceptance

The user supplies the exact catalogue. This is not a fully integrated three-dimensional cross-programme canvas, and unrecorded solver states are never created.

Complete offline project workflow

An account/project/base-revision-bound queue retains up to eight 512 KiB study snapshots with explicit session-storage consent and conflict-preserving synchronization plans.

Verified iPad edition

Live browser capability inspection and nine operator-evidence acceptance tests make tablet readiness and missing physical trials explicit.

Cross-device study continuity

Read the actual native saved private revision and compare exact/semantic study differences under the current account and project identity.

This read-and-compare operation does not automatically replace a local study or provide seamless cross-device/offline merging. End-to-end device trials remain required.

Explore workspace
46Commissioning required

Research suite

Institutional deployment and recovery

Portable byte-restore comparison and an independent offline Python verifier check restored source fingerprints and inventories.

Versioned design-method assistant

One versioned Euler–Bernoulli central-load method computes deflection, moment, shear, bending stress and a user-declared deflection-limit comparison.

Documented extension API

Version 20.0 local contracts execute three fixed operations: central-load beam, dimension-compatible unit conversion and ordered-series summary, with exact-result hashes and replay.

Scope & next acceptance

New adapters and materials require separate registration and verification. The fixed API does not execute arbitrary uploaded code or establish broad plugin compatibility.

EVIDENCE DEFINES THE CLAIM

A working tool. A stated scope.

Software verification, experimental validation and external commissioning answer different questions. This release does not certify device acceptance, physical prediction accuracy, professional code compliance or institutional approval.

W08 source channel/time mapping, the W12 200/400 mm lintel conflict and beam specimen/local-ledger interpretation remain unresolved until original evidence supports a reviewed decision. Licensed Abaqus execution, physical NI commissioning, permanent compute hosts, university identity connections and Safari/iPad acceptance require actual external setup and trials.

The research assistance checks are deterministic. A generative service is not connected by opening V20. Existing account access, private-source handling and intentional upload choices remain in force.
