timber behaviour.
A research workspace for CLT walls and beams, connecting actual model studies with the papers, evidence and supervisor reviews in LingoScholar.

Research scope
Documented verification checks support software review. Experimental validation remains ongoing; the current W08 wall model does not yet reproduce the measured response. Review support connectivity, mesh quality and modelling assumptions before interpreting results.
Private research access
Invited researchers can sign in with their individual password for immediate access to all four programs. Other new visitors can register here with their institutional email and request LignoScope approval after account activation.
Continue to LignoScope. Your programme selection is retained while you sign in or request LignoScope approval.

Your institutional email, name, institution, role, website, approval status and a password hash are stored privately to manage your account. Registration details may be included in a private notification to the program owner. They are not shown in the public author directory.
After review, the owner provides a private activation link to your institutional mailbox. Your registration does not automatically grant LignoScope access. Once your account is activated, sign in here to submit your program request.
Model files stay in your browser unless you export them or explicitly upload a supported workspace to your private account. To correct account details, request a new activation link or remove your account, contact the owner through the creator profile.
Eight engineering investigations
Version 20 adds opening-frame research, virtual gauges, numerical diagnostics, calibration and source-bound comparison tools. Version 18 retains adjustable studios and source-linked figures. Version 17 introduced numerical verification campaigns, conditional predictive assessment, acquisition uncertainty and timing tools, nonlinear connection exchange and a connected study workspace. Bounded objective arc-length continuation, explicit layer/foundation interfaces, a laboratory dossier hub and coordinated 3D field investigation remain available. Earlier stereo geometry, surface strains, source-bound member checks and cross-mesh tools remain available. Each method retains its source requirements and scientific limits. Freeze criteria and source requirements, check measurement mappings and retain independent or calibrated comparisons with their actual evidence status.
Solve bounded orthotropic tetrahedral solids with objective interface/contact laws and inspect accepted equilibrium, energy and formulation limits.
Use declared measurement covariance and campaign effects for conditional prediction, with separate held-out scoring.
Retain exact input manifests, connect a real native host, inspect progress and retain verified completed outputs. A permanent server requires a configured host.
Reconstruct general calibrated stereo geometry and surface strains with conditional uncertainty. A read-only bridge supports supplied samples; physical devices need connection and acceptance.
Review stable-object geometry and material changes against a shared base, resolve conflicts and export the supported neutral model and IFC subset.
Derive supported rectangular-section resistance from exact supplied properties, sources and editions. Professional review and code applicability remain explicit requirements.
Inspect compatible fields with clipping and probes, then map declared triangle/tetrahedral meshes using barycentric interpolation without extrapolation.
Retained research tools
Version 9 campaigns, Version 8 specimen review and earlier research workspaces and portable Save/Open remain available. Numerical results retain their original model scope.
Keep documented beam and wall records, geometry, candidate inputs and retained calculation runs together.
Inspect chronological response and model frames using explicit measurement definitions and registered coordinates.
Run supported beam and wall candidates and compare compatible response quantities.
Rerun declared parameter ranges and inspect sensitivities, conditional estimates and failed solves.
Review calculated beam thresholds, wall connections, reactions and numerical residuals within each model’s scope.
Retain exact model revisions, compare changes and exchange authored questions with a frozen project.
Export verified packages with exact inputs, results, manifests and reproduction recipes. Save/Open workflows let you continue a project.
Access that you control
Requests are private to the applicant and program owner. Approval is specific to LignoScope and can be revoked. Hosted access is checked when protected program files are requested.
Projects saved in your browser or exported to your device remain under your control. Access revocation cannot recall copies already downloaded.
Move an explicit copy of selected numerical evidence into a private research campaign. Keep paper sources, model questions, action plans and review decisions together. Uploading or sharing always remains a separate choice.
